Never an empty machine — 24h fix promise

The Person Behind The Promise

About Snack Parrot

A Maplewood company with one promise — Never An Empty Machine — run by an owner who answers the phone herself. Here’s how that happened.

The Snack Parrot mascot — the face of the company

Started by Savannah, at twelve years old

Snack Parrot was started by Savannah, who launched the company at just twelve years old, growing up in a family of service-business owners who treated every customer like a promise with a name on it. Watching how those businesses won — by showing up, by fixing things fast, by answering the phone — is where the whole idea began.

What she kept noticing on the way: vending machines break that promise everywhere. Empty coils at 3 p.m. A yellowing out-of-order sign that’s been there so long nobody reads it anymore. A card reader that eats a dollar and offers nobody to call. Most vending is anonymous — a company nobody’s ever met, servicing a machine nobody’s watching.

Snack Parrot is the opposite of anonymous. We place modern glass-front machines in New Jersey offices, warehouses, apartment buildings, gyms, schools, hotels and healthcare facilities — free, because we earn from what people buy, so a full machine is our job, not the host’s favor. We restock weekly, monitor remotely, and fix anything inside 24 hours. And when someone calls, a real person answers. Usually Savannah.

“When you do, a real person answers. Usually Savannah.” — that’s not a slogan we added. It’s the way the company has always worked.

We’re based in Maplewood, NJ, and we treat every town on our map the way we treat our own — with a short route to the owner, honest advice about whether a machine fits, and a fix-it promise with a deadline on it.

The details, plainly

Who runs Snack Parrot

Savannah — founder and owner — supported by the family service-business tradition she grew up in. No call center, no ticket queue. The phone number 908-301-6432 reaches her directly.

Where we operate

Maplewood, New Jersey, serving offices, warehouses, manufacturing, apartments, gyms, hotels, schools, healthcare and government buildings across five North Jersey counties — Essex, Union, Bergen, Hudson and Passaic.

What it costs a host

$0

No machine purchase, no installation fee, no restocking invoice. We earn from product sales — which is why we only place machines where traffic will keep them full.

What’s in the machines

Modern glass-front units (AMS 39 snack, AMS Bev 40 drink and similar) stocked with the brands people want — plus better-for-you lines: protein bars, low-sugar drinks, gluten-free snacks. Mixes are tuned monthly from real sales.

Talk to the owner, not a call center

Tell us your town, building type and when people use the space. We’ll confirm fit within a day — and if it’s not a fit, we’ll say so upfront.
